PitchForce is a monthly pitch event for high tech, clean tech, medical device and biotech startup entrepreneurs interested in pitching to a panel of distinguished angel investors and VCs. The ten presenting companies each have a demo table and have the opportunity to meet and network with investors and guests during the first hour. Attendees will then vote for their favorite companies, and the top five will present to a panel of angel investors and VCs. The panel chooses who they feel is the most promising startup. The winner gets a meeting with the Sponsoring Venture Capitalist for a full pitch session.
4:40 – 5:00 pm: Registration for Presenters/ Set-up demo tables
5:30 – 6:30 pm: Networking, Appetizers, Wine and Demo Tables- Vote for Top Startups
- How does voting work?
- Each of the panelists and audience members receive 4 $1M bills in which they place the fake money in your basket. The more money in your basket, they higher chance you have in advancing to give your 4-minute pitch to the panel.
- The top 5 companies advance to the next round of pitching where they will present their 4 minute pitch deck.
6:45 – 7:00 pm: Top five startups are announced to pitch, remaining companies pitch for their lives
- If you do not advance to the next round (4-minute pitch), you will give a 1-minute elevator pitch to the panel. From the companies that give the 1-minute pitch off, the panelists will come together and determine one company that will move to the 4-minute round with the other 5 companies.
7:00 – 8:30 pm: Top 6 companies pitch to the distinguished panel
8:30 – 8:45 pm: Networking
