How the Event Works

PitchForce is a monthly pitch event for high tech, clean tech, medical device and biotech startup entrepreneurs interested in pitching to a panel of distinguished angel investors and VCs. The ten presenting companies each have a demo table and have the opportunity to meet and network with investors and guests during the first hour. Attendees will then vote for their favorite companies, and the top five will present to a panel of angel investors and VCs. The panel chooses who they feel is the most promising startup. The winner gets a meeting with the Sponsoring Venture Capitalist for a full pitch session.

Presentation Format

In the first hour of PitchForce, presenting companies will have a demo table to showcase their company to investors and guests. During this time attendees, will vote for their favorite companies. The top five companies will present to a panel of Angels and VC’s and one bottom five company will be chosen by our panel to come back in as a wild card. The panel makes this decision after the bottom five companies present their 1-minute elevator pitch.

The six selected companies will deliver a 4-minute presentation followed by 4-minutes of questions and answers and 4-minutes of feedback. The panel then votes on a scale of 1-5.
